Key terms every Pakistani bettor should know — from RTP to Asian Handicap.
Asian Handicap
A form of football betting that eliminates the draw outcome by giving one team a virtual head start or deficit. It originated in Asia and is extremely popular for cricket and football markets in Pakistan, offering better value than standard 1X2 betting.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet on whether the combined score or statistic (runs, goals, corners) in a match will be over or under a line set by the bookmaker. In PSL cricket betting, for example, you might bet on whether total runs will be over or under 165.5.
Odds Formats
Odds can be displayed in three formats: Decimal (e.g., 2.50 — multiply stake by odds to get return), Fractional (e.g., 3/2 — profit ratio), and American (e.g., +150 or -200). o999 defaults to decimal odds, which are the most intuitive for Pakistani players.
RTP (Return to Player)
The theoretical percentage of all wagered money a slot or casino game pays back to players over millions of rounds. A slot with 96.5% RTP returns Rs 96.50 for every Rs 100 wagered on average. Higher RTP = better long-term value for the player.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds over the player, expressed as a percentage. For example, a game with 96.5% RTP has a 3.5% house edge. Every game type has a different edge — Blackjack played with basic strategy has one of the lowest, while some slots carry a higher one.
